This two bedroom cottage is in a great location being
within easy walking distance to the town and 2 minutes
from the railway station. There are a number of
great beaches and golf courses close by and lots to do
both locally and further afield, with excellent links
to Edinburgh by train or car.
Having recently been renovated and newly furnished,
the accommodation is very comfortable and ideal for a
family or party of golfers. The living room feels
spacious and is lovely and sunny having large south facing
windows. There are two sofas on which to relax
and in the dining area there’s a table and chairs
to seat up to four. A flatscreen TV set with DVD
player and freeview are also available along with a
selection of videos, books and board games.
The kitchen has recently been refitted and has a good
range of cupboards; it is well equipped with built
in oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer
and microwave as well as the usual kettle, toaster etc
and selection of kitchen utensils. Hire of tumble dryer is available by prior arrangement at a cost of £10/week.
There is
a small table for breakfasting and a view to the back
of the property to the courtyard.
Upstairs the property has two twin bedrooms which have
are freshly decorated and carpeted with large built in
wardrobes providing good storage. Both rooms are
a good size and have large windows making them light and
airy and one has an extra pull-out bed. Between the bedrooms
is the family bathroom, also recently refitted with a
white suite. It features a modern shower bath with
electric shower, toilet and basin.
Outside the property there is an attractive courtyard
garden, and beyond that an area for drying washing. At
the front of the property the road is in a quiet residential
area and there is plenty of unrestricted parking close
to the property.
This property is ideal for those seeking a quiet and
relaxing place to stay, close to all that North Berwick
has to offer with its superb beaches, world class golf
courses and beautiful countryside close by. Historical
Edinburgh is just 30 minutes away by rail and has a wealth
of museums, galleries and attractions which bring people
to visit from all over the globe.
