This
is an exceptionally attractive and classy apartment which was originally
part of an every large late Victorian mansion house. As the name suggests,
the house was built in the grounds of the Abbey in North Berwick - it
is even believed that the house was formerly owned by the family of the
famous politician, Willie Whitelaw! There are open views from all of the
windows, which are mainly west-facing and overlook the extensive gardens.
The spacious living
room is bright and airy, decorated in calming creams and is very tastefully
furnished with a large, comfortable, cream corner sofa, a dining table
with seating for four, a coffee table and other occasional furniture.
There is also a television and DVD player as well as a radio/CD player.
The focal point of this beautiful south facing room is a lovely mahogany
fireplace with black marble hearth.
The very modern kitchen
is fitted with blue base and wall units which are complemented by lovely
ceramic floor tiles. The cooker has a gas hob and oven, fridge/freezer,
dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, kettle and full complement of kitchen
utensils. This room is west facing.
In the large south
facing bedroom there is a king size bed and double wardrobe in beech as
well as side tables in the same beech wood.

there is a white suite, comprising a stylish free standing roll-top bath
